Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) is at the heart of YSDO’s mission to create a skilled, self-reliant generation. Across its six vocational training centers and mobile outreach units, YSDO delivers practical, demand-driven training in trades like tailoring, mechanics, solar installation, plumbing, carpentry, and ICT.
By equipping youth with hands-on skills and job placement support, YSDO not only improves livelihoods but also builds local economies. Each program is aligned with industry standards and includes certifications that enhance employability. With over 20,000 beneficiaries empowered so far, YSDO continues to scale its impact in both rural and urban areas of Galmudug.
