Youth Skills Development Organization (YSDO)

Youth Skills Development Organization (YSDO) operates in full alignment with national development frameworks and international best practices, serving as a trusted conduit for policy implementation and donor engagement across Galmudug State, Somalia.

As an officially recognized partner of several governmental institutions in Somalia—especially in the Galmudug State Government—YSDO works closely with key ministries including:

  • Ministry of Education, Culture and Higher Learning

  • Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs

  • Ministry of Women and Family Affairs

  • Ministry of Health and Social Care

  • Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Human Rights

These strategic partnerships ensure that YSDO’s interventions are locally owned, policy-aligned, and contribute directly to the realization of Somalia’s national priorities, particularly in the areas of youth development, skills training, women’s empowerment, reintegration, and peacebuilding.
